MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA / RankWire.AI / – Meta has launched its most powerful artificial intelligence models to date, named Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full. These new systems are engineered for tasks such as coding, managing long-duration AI agents, and handling complex personal or professional responsibilities. According to Meta, these models assist users in navigating insurance claims, understanding leases, analyzing financial data, and developing operational applications. The availability of Muse Wonder began on October 12 via the Meta Model API and Muse Code, while Muse Wonder Full was released exclusively for Muse Code subscribers.

This announcement marks an expansion of Meta’s efforts into AI systems capable of executing multi-step processes, moving beyond simple prompt responses. Muse Wonder can plan extended tasks, assign subtasks to sub-agents, utilize software tools, and recover from errors during execution. The models are also designed for sophisticated use across browsers, desktop software, and mobile platforms. Both models feature a context window of approximately one million tokens, enabling them to process large datasets in a single session.
To support longer and more tailored interactions, Meta introduced two features: Active Memory and Active Focus. Active Memory retains pertinent information across different conversations and retrieves details when necessary for new tasks. Active Focus allows the models to persist through difficult phases, test alternative strategies, and recover from mistakes. Meta also states that the models can ask users for clarification and verify actions before executing significant operations.
Models Focused on Coding and Persistent AI Agents
The cost of Muse Wonder is $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens via the Meta Model API. Cached input data is priced at $0.20 per million tokens, as detailed in Meta’s developer documentation. Muse Wonder Full is accessible only through paid Muse Code subscriptions, not via separate API plans. For developers with intensive coding needs, Meta offers Power Usage at $50 per month and Maximum Usage at $200 per month.
Meta reports that Muse Wonder Full outperforms several benchmarks related to agentic and coding capabilities, with results documented alongside the release. Tests such as DeepSWE and SWE-Marathon, which assess software engineering and prolonged coding performance, are among those used. Independent evaluator Artificial Analysis assigned Muse Wonder an Intelligence Index score of 52, while Muse Wonder Full received a score of 56 at maximum reasoning effort. These scores place the models above Meta’s earlier Muse Spark generation on the evaluator’s index.
Enhanced Safety Measures Complement Expanded Model Abilities
Meta has trained the Muse Wonder series to refrain from sharing private information without consent and to decline requests involving harmful actions. The models also incorporate cybersecurity features to assist developers in identifying vulnerabilities in their code and bolstering security defenses. Meta states that its most advanced models are evaluated under the Meta Superintelligence Scaling Framework. The company plans to publish a comprehensive report covering additional safety assessments following the initial launch.
Approximately 14 months prior to the Muse Wonder release, Meta undertook a significant overhaul of its AI initiatives. The new models are built upon the foundation established by Muse Spark, with training conducted at its Prometheus data center. Meta intends to integrate Muse Wonder into more features within its Muse ecosystem, beginning with subscribers. The October launch provides developers immediate access to Muse Wonder, while reserving the larger Muse Wonder Full model for Muse Code subscribers.
