The checkout system’s architecture supports a seamless transition for mobile users, who can authorize flight payments by moving directly to their digital wallet app before returning to the airline’s platform for ticket confirmation. Desktop users can choose the digital payment method at checkout, scan a QR code displayed on-screen with their mobile device, and approve the transaction within the wallet app. Once validated across the payment network, automated systems instantly generate flight itineraries and e-tickets.
